Yoder Family Roofing was started in the spring of 1998 by Aaron Yoder, who built his small roofing business by hard work and establishing long term relationships with customers. In the early years of Aaron’s business a young man who was just out of high school named Merle came to work for Yoder Family Roofing. Merle began as a cleanup boy for Aaron and later found his own niche in the roofing business working on Aaron’s crew. In 2008 Aaron decided to retire from roofing to pursue farming and made the decision to sell the business to Merle. Since Merle took over the business during the economic downturn of 2008 he needed to dig deep to prove his small roofing business, Merle focused his business around integrity, quality, and growing his business through customer referrals. Merle’s vision became the same as Aaron’s as he worked hard to establish good lasting relationships with his customers as well as his employees. Merle wants his business today to be dependable, not only for his customers current needs but also for their future needs.
