  2. Fun day

Great place to visit while in the Amish County. You get to taste all the different types of cheese. If you there early you can watch them make it. Go before noon.

  3. Mud valley custard is a must try

We got the mud valley creamery custard, in toasted coconut. Seriously the best custard I’ve ever had! The Walnut Creek products are actually priced slightly higher than I’ve seen elsewhere. Doesn’t seem right, since your at the source. The lunchmeat is a good deal though. Went on a Saturday & it was very busy so beware.

  4. Way more than a Grocery Store!

Wow! What a surprise to see what all was contained inside this Walnut Creek Cheese facility! TWO floors of great surprises! From regular grocery items to cheeses to fresh meats to fresh bakery items to hand-dipped ice-cream dishes and so much more! Go upstairs & eat at the little diner area & look down upon the people as you eat if you’d like! Adjoining this store are several other little shops as well. This one was worth the stop for delicious cheese, pies, beef sticks, beef jerky, ice cream, & so much more! Check it out….be prepared for it to be BUSY!

  5. A Must-Stop When on Ohio's Amish Country

This is a Must-Stop when in Ohio’s Amish Country. You cannot miss it as it is a huge complex on the main road Route 39. You can spend a few hours there if you are so inclined. And if you have a cooler or hotel room refrigerator you can sure get the bargains. Cheeses, lunchmeat, salads, and even fresh meat. There is also a large assortment of Amish breads and desserts.

There is always something on sale that makes the prices even lower
    .
The bulk food area is huge. Then there is also a large assortment of kitchen and dinner ware. If you are in need of a cookie cutter or utensil, most likely you can find it there if you look hard enough. All in all, if you like very reasonable prices and like to shop, you will love this place.

  6. More that just cheese

Yes, this is a cheese store, but they sell so much more. They have every kind of kitchen hand tool anyone could want and many that I had never seen before. The product variety is very large. They have many food items for travelers to “take and go” and sell bags of ice for just $1.79. There is a restaurant upstairs, which I did not try, but it seemed to be very busy. They sell their own ice cream in the store. I was warned ahead of time to only get a child size because the large “is about a quart of ice cream.” This store is definitely worth a visit.
