Carlisle Fabrics & Quilts open in November 2016 on Main street in Sugarcreek. We offer a large selection of quilts and crafts made by the local ladies that are very gifted in sewing and quilting. We also carry purses and sweaters plus some gifts, toys and lots of fabric. The business may be fairly new , but the Yoder’s bought Swiss Village Quilts and Carlisle Fabric Shop that had both been in business for over 20 years and combined the 2. The building we bought is the former Swiss Hat Restaurant and is located across from the worlds largest Cuckoo clock, with plenty of room. People come from all over the world to see the Cuckoo clock. We are now carrying the cuckoo clocks that are from Germany. Our friendly staff will be happy to help you, if that be picking out fabric for your project or we can make the style you like to fit the colors in your décor. We also have a large selection of garment fabric as well as drapery. Our basement has a large room we rent out as an event center, with kitchen, stove and fridge. Tables and chairs for 100 to 150.
